Splash layout (built-in)

Note

This layout comes from Starlight’s own template frontmatter field, not from anything in src/components/overrides/. It’s included here as a baseline: Starlight already ships one frontmatter-driven layout switch, and the rest of this site’s tutorial shows how to build more of your own using the same idea.

The homepage of this site (/) also uses template: splash. Setting template: doc (or omitting it) goes back to the standard sidebar layout, same as the default demo.
